Background

Horn Cable Television is the leading private television station in Somaliland. It was founded in 2003 in response to a great need for an independent media house which was necessary to monitor and report on the new developments. The circumstances at the time made it extremely difficult for foreign journalists to work in the region. Horn cable TV has its headquarters at Hargeisa, Somaliland

Horn Cable TV is viewed for 24 hours daily in the whole of Somaliland, Somalia and all over the World, especially areas with a huge Somali Diasporas.
